imgres.jpg
This is what the dodge tool looks like on page, you must hover over it to select it.

You must then select the size of the brush you want to use, the panel above is the sort of panel you should use.
Move o the size tab to use a smaller brush or bigger brush.

For example, here you can shine somebody teeth. quick, easy, simple.

I will use this tool to make pictures look better and more professional. I could use his to make somebody's face look better for advertising etc.

Year 10 Representation

In many rap videos women have no identity except as sexual playthings and "eye candy"

This is partly true, though in some videos the woman is portrayed to be the girlfriend. Though they are still attractive they have a story behind them and are not pointlessly there. There are many different reasons why women are attractive in music videos, one of the reasons is that if the song is not good then the women will still attract people to watch the video... For example 'blurred lines' was very successful, one of the main reasons for this is that the song had good looking girls dancing round naked.

These images do provide pleasure to some viewers. But the concern is that men may internalize the notion that women are nothing more than sexual objects waiting to be used.

This is true but varies on the age of the viewer, if a 20 year old was too see this he will he will know what women are expected off and that they are not all like this. If a young child was too see this he would grow up to know no difference and expect women to look perfect and move sexually. The women shown in these types of videos are paid models and are not like this in real life they are normal people who choose to do this sort of thing, they want to do this and get paid for it.

These sorts of images are not unique to hip hop. Objectified female bodies are everywhere. They appear throughout our culture in films, advertisements, television programmes etc. However, within music videos, this is virtually the ONLY vision of women available.

This is true because in hip hop there is audiences who prefer this type of scenes. It attracts a kind of audience that the industry want, it gets them money and raises the company reputation. The advertising company uses attractive women to show that if you use their product you can be attractive. The music videos use attractive girls to pull more people to watch or listen to the music.

What you have here is good and you have responded well to the question. You have used examples and some terminology.

T: What you must do now is develop your points and fully explain them using multiple specific examples. Pick out all of the technical aspects (Mise-en-scene, editing, lyrics etc)

Presentation evaluation

WWW: We managed to work together in creation the rest of the slides.

WWW: We presented it together and managed to work as a team.

WWW: We mixed our ideas together to get the best ideas.

EBI: If the scheme was more interesting and colorful.

We could have made the slide itself more interesting than just white slides, though we did not get a lot of time at the ned to do any major editing.

EBI: If it was longer in the way of the slides and overall presentation.

We could have put more information into the slides about the content of the video.

EBI: If more planning was put in.

This could be improved by making some sort of plan before we actually started developing the presentation.

Tom and I didn't work together at the start, we joined half way through. Though Tom and I worked well in a team and made a successful presentation.
